Mother's Day

This Mother's Day was my very first Mother's Day and it was awesome! Had a very nice and relaxing day. Woke up, went to church. Came home and had lunch and then the three of us took a nap. Woke up from our nap and we walked to the park by our place. Ryder rode the swing for the first time and he loved it. He just loves being outside! After the park, Ryder and his dad took me out to eat pho (my favorite food) and it was delicious! :D Then they surprised me with a small rose bush/plant and a nice card. Loved that it was low key and that we got to spend quality time together. :)

On the same note, last Mother's Day, DH got me a new car. Well, new to me at least. I wasn't officially a mother yet but a soon to be mother as Ryder was still taking his precious time growing in my tummy. Anyways, nothing too fancy but I love it and I still love it, one year later. It such a good car, roomy and spacious. I also think it gets decent gas mileage for a SUV and it has 3rd row seating so we can carry extra people if need be. We test drove a couple of different SUVs but this had everything I was looking for and I was not about to get a minivan. :D I heart you my MDX.

Gasping for air...

I feel like I am in a deep dark hole and I can't get out. I'm gasping for air but with every breathe, it gets harder. I'm sinking and I just want it to all end. I feel like I am dying, slowly....

Please pray for us... There's nothing we can do but to put our faith in Him.

My dad had a minor stroke this past weekend... :( Breaks my heart that I am so far away from them.

This weekend is my SIL's baby shower. She's having a girl... :)

I can't wait until Memorial Day weekend...Seattle, here we come. :D

Random thoughts

Sorry, been MIA...

Contemplating... Should I gift myself a Longchamp? If I was still working, I would say 'Yes' in a heartbeat cause it would be an awesome work bag... :)

Addicted to... ASOS and can't stop... Not good. Good thing they have free shipping and free return. I lurves it!

When you think things can't get worst, it does. What would cheer me up? A vaca or a Fendi Spy bag. I would take either. ;)

Clothes would look better on me if I shed a few (X2) pounds. Its hard when I am always hungry after nursing (my lame-o excuse so don't hate on me).

Gotta learn how to downsize my life, my house and my closet. I'm such a hoarder, maybe one day I will have to call one of those shows for help.

Am I too old to shop at F21? I must be cause I can't find anything there that I like or that likes me.

I need a more polish look. Its hard to be inspired to dress up with no where to go.

That being said, I am a dressAholic. I have too many dresses and not enough events to go to.

So with that being said said, I should just dress up on the daily just because, well, daily might be too much but at least 3-4 times a week.

I loath this weather and if I could, I would kill it. Literally. I can't wait until the day when I never see snow again.

Long week!

It has been an exhausting week. My little guy has been sick. :( Poor bubba! Thank goodness he's getting better. :) He had/has bronchiolitis so whenever he's sick with a cough/cold, we have to give him treatment through a nebulizer.

On a happier note, we're going to be in Seattle for Memorial Day weekend. Any suggestions on places we should see or eat at? It'll be our first time out there and I'm pretty excited.
